In New York, 1959, it's the opening of a new Max Bialystock play called "Funny Boy", a musical version of Hamlet. The critics hate it and the show closes at intermission. Max, who was once called the King of Broadway, enlists the help of a mousy accountant, Leo Bloom, and together they cook up a scheme to get rich by overselling interests in a Broadway flop. Complications arise when the show unexpectedly turns out to be a success!
Nunsense at Collingswood, NJ

The Little Sisters of Hoboken are back in an encore performance of this zany musical. The show is a fundraiser put on by the Sisters to raise money to bury sisters accidentally poisoned by the convent cook, Sister Julia (Child of God). Presented by the Collingswood Excelsior Theatre Company and the Collingswood Community Theatre, tickets are $15 adults, $10 seniors and students. Performances are Wednesday, July 14, Thursday, July 15 and Friday, July 16 at 7:30 pm with a matinee on Thursday, July 15 at 1:30. Luncheon and matinee special - $25 - available by reservation only.
