Looking for fun winter activities your whole family will enjoy? From ice skating and karaoke to indoor waterparks and stargazing, these exciting South Jersey spots will keep the fun going all winter long! 

1. WinterFest Ice Skating
Cooper River Park, Cherry Hill, NJ

Cooper River Park has once again transformed into a winter wonderland with tasty treats and tons of family fun! WinterFest is the perfect place to spend your winter break skating with family and friends. When off the ice, guests can enjoy bonfires, heated tents, arcade games, and more. 2. Edelman Planetarium
201 Mullica Hill Road, Glassboro, NJ

Look into the skies at Edelman Planetarium at Rowan University! They offer live stargazing and immersive 360-degree video on their digital sky. You can also attend their public family and winter shows this season! All shows are one-hour long. Click here to check out the upcoming show schedule. 

3. Sahara Sam’s Oasis
535 NJ-73, West Berlin, NJ

Sahara Sam’s Oasis Indoor and Outdoor Water Park is open year-round and offers families clean, safe, affordable, high-value entertainment. Park features include arcade systems, surfing simulators, a wave pool, a lazy river, numerous water attractions, slides, and more. So grab your swimsuit and pretend it’s summer this winter break!

4. Whitesbog Village 
120 West Whites Bogs Road, Browns Mills, NJ

Whitesbog Village is a historic company town and farm with 25 historic buildings, hiking trails, reservoirs, streams, the Elizabeth White Mansion, blueberry farm fields, cranberry bogs, and a picnic grove. The grounds are open from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year, as part of the Brendan T. Byrne State Forest. The General Store is open on weekends from 10am to 4pm and the other village buildings are open for scheduled events, tours, and special requests. 5. Songbird Karaoke

It’s time to get your sing on at Songbird Karaoke! 6. Adventure Aquarium 
1 Riverside Drive, Camden, NJ

Adventure Aquarium features one-of-a-kind exhibits with more than 15,000 aquatic species throughout two million gallons of water. The aquarium is home to the largest collection of sharks on the East Coast, including the only great hammerhead shark on exhibit in the United States, and has the longest Shark Bridge in the world. It’s also the only aquarium in the world to exhibit hippos and is one of only six facilities in the U.S. to have Little Blue Penguins as permanent residents. This Camden Waterfront attraction is guaranteed to be a family crowd pleaser this winter break! 

7. Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge
6 Sawmill Road, Medford, NJ 

Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge is a 171-acre non-profit wildlife refuge, wildlife rehabilitation hospital, and nature center on the edge of the New Jersey Pinelands. Cedar Run serves as a community resource on the importance of protecting and enhancing healthy ecosystems for all. 8. Millville Army Air Field Museum 
1 Leddon Steet, Millville, NJ

The Millville Airport was dedicated as “America’s First Defense Airport” on August 2, 1941, by local, state, and federal officials. In January of 1943, the Millville Army Air Field opened as a gunnery school for fighter pilots. Today, the Millville Army Air Field Museum is dedicated to telling the stories of those who trained here, died here, and those who went on to serve the U.S. in WWII and other wars throughout history. The museum is open from 10am to 4pm Tuesday through Sunday. Current exhibits include Women with Wings, Philadelphia Seaplane Base Museum, A4D/A-4F Skyhawk, Bob Goldstine, and The Navajo Code Talkers. 

9. Garden State Discovery Museum 
2040 Springdale Road, Suite 100, Cherry Hill, NJ

The Garden State Discovery Museum celebrates imagination for children ages infant through 10-years-old. Whether your children love to explore science, get down and dirty making arts and crafts, be the hero of their own story or bear the honor of wearing a chef’s coat for a day, the GSDM is the place to be this winter break! Come and enjoy over 20 giant kid-powered exhibits and get your hands on the fun!

10. DREAM Park
400 US Route 130 South, Logan Township, NJ

The Gloucester County DREAM Park hosts many local and nationally acclaimed activities including horse breed shows, equine sports shows, dog breed and agility shows, community fun days and much more that are all open to the public. The park offers programs like riding lessons, therapeutic riding, and summer camp.
