She gained prominence in the 1960’s for her number one hit single “He’s a Rebel.” She was also one of the artists who performed on the celebrated Christmas album, A Christmas Gift for You from Phil Spector in 1963. 3. 14th Annual Glassboro
Cruise Night & Food Truck Festival

For the 14th year in a row, car enthusiasts will gather in Glassboro at the annual Glassboro Cruise Night and Food Truck Festival, the premier car show in South Jersey. The viewing area will be on Rowan Boulevard in Downtown Glassboro and an anticipated 4,000 attendees will have the opportunity to view over 300 vehicles while listening to live music and enjoying great food and cold craft beer. Come enjoy wine and live music at Sharrott Winery! Live music will be in Sharrott’s new tasting room with indoor and outdoor seating available. Stroll the historic village of Whitesbog and learn about its role in history. You’ll visit Suningive, the worker’s cottage and other museums, buildings, and farm landscapes that speak to Whitesbog’s heritage. History Hikes take place on the first Saturday of each month.
