Looking for some Halloween magic? Or maybe even a little mischief? We’ve got you covered with tons of Halloween-themed events this October!
1. Flashlight Fridays, Coombs Barnyard, Elmer
Every Friday in October | 6:30 PM
Bring your flashlight and make your way through Coombs Barnyard’s corn maze! This year’s corn maze theme is all about New Jersey! The maze is not scary, so it is perfect for families of all ages. Pumpkins and snacks will be available for purchase during the event. The cost is $6 per person.
2. DiggerFest, Diggerland USA
Every Saturday & Sunday from October 6 – November 11th
DiggerFest Weekends in the fall are some of the best days for visiting the park! Your season pass or a general admission ticket gives you access to all of your favorite rides and heavy machinery attractions, in addition to experiences and programming that encompass the fall festival season.
3. Witchy Weekends, Valenzano Winery, Shamong
Every Saturday & Sunday in October | 11 AM – 3 PM
Another year, another round of witchy weekend revelry! Valenzano Winery invites you to come out dressed in your best witchy wares and Halloween garb every Saturday and Sunday in October and enjoy a 20% discount on wine, merchandise, and food purchases.
4. Witches Ball, Mount Holly
Saturday, October 6 | 3 PM – 12 AM
This free outdoor event is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for adults to dress up and be whatever you want! A diverse collection of music, art, and revels await those who have the inclination and imagination to take part. The Pumpkin Ball, a family-friendly event, takes place from 3pm-6pm; the Bizarre Bazaar is from 3pm-8pm and is filled with exotic and unusual vendors; the adults only party takes place from 7pm-midnight.
5. South Jersey Pumpkin Show, Woodstown
October 12, 13, & 14
Shop from over 100 vendors, visit the Salem County Fall Home Show, go on amusement rides, and so much more at the South Jersey Pumpkin Show! Guests can enjoy wine sampling, food trucks, and free pumpkins all three days. There will also be trick or treat goody bags for the first 100 kids each day, as well as tractor pull rides and hayrides.
6. Hidden Pond Farm Fall Music Festival, Pine Tavern Distillery
Saturday, October 13 | 10 AM – 6:30 PM
Pine Tavern Distillery is proud to present the Hidden Pond Farm Fall Music Festival! There will be live music from numerous artists all day long, in addition to EMS Cafe and Pattyscakes Concessions cooking up their best of Salem County fare. Grab a craft cocktail at the bar, relax, and enjoy the sweet sounds of the fall season. Tickets are limited. The cost is $25 online and $35 at the door.
7.The Ghosts of South Jersey, Burlington
Sunday, October 14 | 2 PM – 3:30 PM
Join author, Patricia A. Martinelli, at the Burlington County Historical Society as she explores some of the legends and myths that have been told in South Jersey since the earliest days of settlement. Find out more about the Jersey Devil, the Woman in White, and other spirits who wander throughout the region, from the coastal plains to the heart of the Pine Barrens.
8. Monster Splash Halloween Party, Sahara Sam’s
October 19 & 26 | 4 PM – 9 PM
Get into the Halloween Spirit at Sahara Sam’s family-friendly Monster Splash! There will be a rockin’ DJ playing all of your favorite Halloween jams, in addition to holding contests and giveaways all night. Plue there will be a foam party! Admission is $32.99 and free for season pass holders.
9. Thriller Night, Moorestown Mall
Friday, October 19 | 5 PM – 9 PM
Join Moorestown Mall for another year of chills, thrills, and fun! Families can enjoy trunk-or-treat, an outdoor movie featuring The Nightmare Before Christmas, a live reenactment of “Thriller,” restaurant samplings, and so much more!
10. Haunted Haddonfield Walking Tours, Downtown Haddonfield
October 19, 20, 26, & 27 | 7 PM
Take a walking tour of old Haddonfield as author William Meehan Jr. regales you with ghost stories and legends from his popular paperback, Haunted Haddonfield. The tour begins at Greenfield Hall and winds past the cemetery and familiar homes along the way. The tour last about one hour and can be enjoyed by everyone. Make sure you bring a flashlight!
11. Halloween Bash, Cape May Brewing Co.
Friday, October 26 | 5 PM
Stop by the Tasting Room at Cape May Brewing Co. for a night filled with Halloween fun! They will be tapping a spooky one-off brew, offering limited edition Halloween glassware, hosting a costume contest, and so much more. Grab a flight and enjoy a haunted tour and a pour in the ghostly beer garden.
12. Halloween Hootenanny, Garden State Discovery Museum
Friday, October 26 | 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Visit the Garden State Discovery Museum for a happily haunted Halloween Hootenanny! Make your way through each Halloween themed exhibit and you’ll have the chance to create Halloween crafts and show off your dance moves. Then, head outside for Trunk or Treat! You can trick or treat around the decorated cars in the museum parking lot. Tickets are $20 for a non-member child, $10 for a member child, and $5 for adults.
13. Salem Ghost Tour, Salem City
Friday, October 26 | 7 PM
Enjoy a walking ghost tour of Historic Salem! Proceeds benefit the Salem County Historical scholarship fund. Tours are $5 per person and begin at Royal Port Antiques located at 13 Market Street, Salem, NJ.
14. Spooky Lantern Tour & Campfire Storytelling, Whitesbog Village
Saturday, October 27 | 7 PM – 9 PM
Celebrate Halloween at Historic Whitesbog Village! Choose your adventure: Haunted Lantern Tour, Scary Stories & Music around the Campfire, Haunted Wagon Ride, and Haunted Hike. Cider, hot chocolate, and apple cider doughnuts will be available at the General Store. There are only a limited number of tickets available and they are sure to sell out, so make your reservations early.
15. HalloWheaton, WheatonArts, Millville
Sunday, October 28 | 1 PM – 4 PM
Trick-or-Treat in your Halloween costume at WheatonArts! Children will have a chance to meet and take pictures with traditional costumed characters such as the Mummy, the Grymm Witches, the too-tall scarecrow, and many others. Throughout the grounds, actors will perform an eclectic mix of short skits capturing the Halloween season.
16. Medford Halloween Parade, Main Street, Medford
Sunday, October 28 | 7 PM
Walk down Main Street in Medford and see the hundreds of kids all dressed up in costumes while the Halloween parade comes down the street. It’s a magical night that brings the community together and has grown to attract 30,000 spectators and participants. This family-fun parade features marching bands, cheerleaders, princesses, fireman, and so much more!
17. Boos & Brews Halloween Party, Three 3’s Brewing Company

18. Frankenstein, Walter K. Gordon Theater, Camden

To celebrate the 200th anniversary of the original publication of Mary Shelley’s horror story, Frankenstein, Rutgers-Camden Theater kicks off its season with this thrilling and faithful stage adaption.
19. Bloodshed Farms Fear Fest, Columbus

With four haunted attractions, Fear Fest at Bloodshed Farms is sure to be a thrill! Attractions include Hellsgate Asylum, Clown-o-Phobia, Trail of Terror, and The Last Ride Haunted Hayride. Tickets can be purchased online or at the ticket booth.
20. Night of Terror, Creamy Acres Farm, Mullica Hill
Fridays & Saturdays from 6:30 PM to 9 PM
New Jersey’s largest and scariest haunted attraction is back! Night of Terror at Creamy Acres has seven attractions for you to choose from including the Cornfield Maze, Zombie Mayhem, and the Ride of Terror.
21. V&V Adventure Farm, Shamong
Fridays & Saturdays in October | 7 PM
Looking for a night of Halloween terror? When the sun goes down, things get creepy at V&V Adventure Farm! Their haunted attractions include a flashlight corn maze, The Zombie Invasion Shootout Hayride, and the Jersey Devil Haunt.
22. Fear in the Forest, Pemberton
October 19 & 20 | Opens at Dark
Enter at your own risk! This family-owned blueberry farm transforms into one of the top haunted attractions around. This event opens at dark and closes at 10pm. Visitors will walk down an extremely scary and more than half a mile long trail! If you survive, there is live music and food available at the Haunted Shed.
