7 Can’t Miss Fall Wine Festivals in South Jersey

The Harvest Season is upon us! To kick off the season, South Jersey wineries are celebrating with exciting festivals and events. Each year these events draw in thousands of visitors with attractions such as grape stomping, live music and entertainment, craft vendors, and of course, amazing wine. Don’t miss this opportunity to see our award winning wineries and vineyards come alive with the excitement of harvest!

1. WineFestNJ 2018, Valenzano Winery, Shamong
September 15 & 16 | 12 PM – 5 PM

Don’t miss the 17th Annual WineFest at Valenzano Winery this year! The festival features wine tasting from some of New Jersey’s best wineries, four stages of music and entertainment, over 70 local crafters and vendors, and endless food options from local restaurants. Bring the kids along too because there will be pony rides and entertainment just for them! There will even be a beer garden featuring Brotherton Brewing Company.

2. Harvest Party, Bellview Winery, Landisville
September 22 & 23 | 12 PM – 5 PM

Bellview Winery celebrates each new harvest with a party and they invite you to come out and enjoy the fruits of their labor! The weekend will be filled with wine, live music, and the area’s best food vendors. Additionally, there will be craft vendors showcasing their goods for purchase. Tickets are $10 per person at the gate.

3. Heritage Wine Festival, William Heritage Winery, Mullica Hill
September 22 & 23 | 1 PM – 5 PM

Enjoy wine tastings from eight New Jersey wineries, as well as gourmet food truck fair, premium craft vendors, and all-day live music at the Heritage Wine Festival! Craft beer will also be available for purchase.  This event will be held rain or shine. Tickets are available online.

4. Harvest & Crush, Natali Vineyards
September 22 & 23 | 1 PM – 5 PM

Natali Vineyards is celebrating the harvest by having a Harvest and Crush Event! Visitors can participate in a grape stomping contest and the winner will receive a $100 gift card. There will also be live music by the Geno White Trio and plenty of delicious wine!

5. Cape May Wine & Music Festival, Hawk Haven Winery, Rio Grande
October 6 & 7 | 12 PM – 6 PM

The Cape May Wine & Music Festival will feature live music from world class performers, wine tastings from some of New Jersey’s finest wineries, a craft beer garden that will blow your hops off, and a variety of tasty street food vendors.

6. Harvest Opera Gala, Tomasello Winery, Hammonton
Sunday, October 7 & 14 | 2 PM

Held in their versatile Vintner’s Room, the Opera Gala at Tomasello Winery presents four times a year. Join them at their Harvest Opera Gala for an afternoon featuring fine wines, elegantly prepared cuisine, and thoughtfully selected operatic arias. The music is complemented by a delicious four-course gourmet dinner prepared by the excellent Executive Chef, Jason Hall, who expertly pairs his creations with Tomasello’s award-winning wines. Tickets are required.

7. 7th Annual Harvest Festival, Autumn Lake Winery, Williamstown
October 13 & 14 | 12 PM – 5 PM

Autumn Lake Winery wants to celebrate the harvest season with you! This year, enjoy comfort food varieties from Jersey Bill’s BBQ and Wilson’s Kettle Corn. There will be live music by Poor Mouth Henry. Admission is $10 per person and includes parking, wine tasting, entertainment, souvenir glass, hayride, and a tour of the winery.
