SUMMARY:New Jersey - Crossroads of the American Revolution
DESCRIPTION:As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday\, join local historian Jim Segrave-Daly for a lively discussion about the pivotal role that New Jersey played. Strategically located between British-controlled New York & the Continental capital of Philadelphia\, South Jersey was critical to controlling the Delaware River & supplying both armies\, especially during the Philadelphia Campaign of 1777. \nJim (thelocalhistorygeek.com) has presented to libraries & civic organizations nationwide. He is an active member of the Radnor Historical Society\, American Revolution Roundtable of Philadelphia\, America250PADelco\, Founding Forward\, & a volunteer history teacher. \nThis event is for adults. \nRegistration is required however you will not need a library card to attend: https://events.camdencountylibrary.org/event/2026-07-30/new-jersey-crossroads-american-revolution
