Symphony in C’s second season under Maestro Stilian Kirov concludes with Mozart’s familiar overture to The Magic Flute,  Astral Artists’ pianist Henry Kramer, who thrilled the audience last season in “Beyond Barber: Composing Philadelphia”, and Brahms’ lovely Second Symphony, full of “radiant sunlight and pure skies.”

Symphony in C, formerly known as the Haddonfield Symphony, is a professional training orchestra based in Southern New Jersey. Founded in 1952, Symphony in C’s mission to train young professionals is similar to that of the Chicago Civic Orchestra and Miami’s New World Symphony. The orchestra’s home is The Gordon Theater on the campus of Rutgers–Camden University under the leadership of Music Director Stilian Kirov. In addition to performance at Rutgers-Camden, Symphony in C offer Chamber Music performance through its Virtuosi Series as well as a number of educational programs and performances for children and teens.
