Burlington County St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Burlington County invites you to celebrate their Irish Heritage and Culture at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 3rd at 1pm in Downtown Mount Holly. The parade is a fun filled day with Pipe Bands, Irish Bands, Step Dancers, and many more examples of Irish Traditions. Make sure you stay for the afterparty with nonstop Irish music on two stages all day and night long!
Each year the parade committee also selects a Miss St. Patrick to join the Grand Marshal in leading the parade down the street. She receives an educational scholarship to help further her studies. Along with this, the parade committee sponsors and runs several events that showcase Irish Heritage as well as educational and cultural events that will help the public gain a greater understanding of Irish Culture.
Funding is made possible in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts from a grant to the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Department of Resource Conservation, Division of Parks.
