Collingswood Market Night
The weekend of August 18 and 19 in Collingswood is filled with billowing tents, beautiful art, live music and thousands of shoppers for the annual Crafts and Fine Arts Festival. As day one of the festival officially wraps at 5 p.m., Collingswood’s main shopping and dining district remains closed to traffic for a post-festival party. This year, Haddon Ave will again come alive at five on August 18 for the second Collingswood Market Night! There will be evening dining specials, entertainment, live music, games and surprises for families and guests. After a day of fine art, Collingswood keeps the party going that evening!
This is the “afterparty” for the annual Collingswood Crafts and Fine Arts festival – so while some festival crafters choose to stay open, the focus is on Collingswood businesses and merchant-driven events. Roughly half of the daytime crafter and artists will remain open in the evening – but there is lots more to do all throughout Collingswood’s downtown.
Collingswood’s Market Night will include:
– Tightrope performance by the Philly Tightrope Walkers, Haddon & Collings Aves
-Sidewalk Sale from local merchants
-Restaurant specials, festival/ street food from local restaurants and outdoor dining area
-Art from select festival vendors and local artists
-BYOChair throwback movie night, Woodlawn Ave
-Atari Party, Dig This, 717 Haddon Ave
-Family games and entertainment from ExtraordinaryED, 808 Haddon area
-Lawn Chair Concerts – Zane School/Millennium Clock at Haddon & Irvin Aves
