Collingswood’s Wellness Week showcases dozens of events promoting healthy lives, minds and bodies for kids to seniors!

Fitness. Yoga. Mental health. Nutrition. Family time. Screenings and checks. There are dozens of ways to keep your body and mind healthy. Luckily, Collingswood has made it easy and fun by rounding up a week’s worth of fitness and whole health events from April 6 to April 11, 2020. All events are $5 or less and many are free.

Each weekday during wellness week a variety of classes and events are scheduled for free or minimal cost. Offerings range from screenings and wellness checks, group activities like community runs, fitness classes and seminars from doctors and experts. Each weeknight will also have a “featured event” at the Community Center at 6:30 p.m. – a free, community style class on a broad range of topics. Featured events for Wellness Week are TBA.

Some events take place at the Collingswood Community Center, some outdoors and others will be hosted at individual wellness businesses in Collingswood. Wellness Week will culminate on Saturday, April 11 with a “Community Day” at Knight Park. The P.E.-style day invites citizens to take part in community challenges such as obstacle courses, active games and enjoy healthy snacks.
