Cumberland County Fair

The oldest running county fair in the state will feature all your favorite events, amusement rides, food, and exhibits, Demolition Derby, Mud Bog and an Amateur Truck Pull. There will be racing pigs, monster truck rides, music and shows, plus a great variety of food. The Cumberland County Fair is one of the highlights of the summer and brings people from throughout the county and state together for five
days and nights of old fashion, family fun.
The opening ceremonies starts at 4:00 pm. Tuesday night features, the Parade of 4-H Clubs, the Little Miss & Mister Cumberland County Fair pageant for county girls and boys ages 4-8 years old at 5:00pm, DJ “Pepper Paul”, comedy juggler, Larry Vee and Strongman Sonny Barry.
Wednesday is kid’s day at the fair and the gates open at 1:00pm with the first 500 kids through the gate receive a free gift. Kid’s under four feet tall admitted free of charge all day. The Decorated Wagons and Baby Strollers Parade for kids newborn to 4 years old begins at 2pm, water melon eating contest (ages 4-12) at 4pm and pie eating contest for all ages at 5pm. Don’t miss the women’s skillet toss at 6pm, followed by men’s toilet seat toss at 7pm, Brian Eslick, Comedy Hypnotist Show hosted by the South Jersey DEVILer and music by Moe Fishbone on the Midway Stage. Amusements of America will offer a $20.00 wristband purchase that will give fair goers unlimited rides all day. Special thanks goes out to the City of Millville Recreation Department for its support and sponsorship of Kid’s Day.
Thursday is a special day for seniors with free admission all day. Amusements of America will offer a $20.00 wristband purchase that will give fair goers unlimited rides. Wheels of Thunder classic cars on the Midway,4-H BBQ from 4:30 to 7:00pm, USA’s Funniest Prop Comedian, “The Legendary WID”, show at 8pm and music by Dave Deluca throughout the evening.
Friday night the Amateur Truck Pull, with two classes’ gas and diesel, will have fans up off their feet, cheering for their favorite drivers in the Grandstand admission fee required. The Midway Stage will feature music by the Danny Eyer Band and comedy show by Gemini – Ventriloquism & Magic.
And finally, Saturday is the big draw with two major events featured in the Grandstand. The Mud Bog begins at 1:00pm and the hard hitting, action packed Demolition Derby starts at 7:00pm and there is a fee required to enter the grandstand for these events. As always, paid admission to the Cumberland County Fair gets you access to all that the fair has to offer, including racing pigs, entertaining shows, 4-H Activities, Home- Garden & Farm exhibits, comedy shows, free contests and so much more.
Last but not least, there are some new additions to the Fair. We will be raffling off an authenticated, Mike Trout Autographed, Baseball Bat, with the estimated
value of $500.00 and a $400.00 Best Buy gift card. There will also be 50/50 tickets sold and drawn every day. Every adult will be able to purchase a chance to win a
collector’s item, a great shopping experience or some pocket cash.
