First Day Hike: Beat the Winter Blues at Whitesbog

Come join the Whitesbog Preservation Trust for a fun morning of exploration and recreation! On their recently completed hiking trails, you can wander as far and wide as your heart desires. Amazing discoveries can be found at both 1/2 mile, at 5 miles, and everything in between. Let your curiosity and your feet lead the way!
Leaders in nature studies and historic reference will be on hand to share stimulating information about Whitesbog Village and the NJ Pine Barrens.
Degree of difficulty – Easy to moderate
Age restrictions – Children 10 and over with a responsible adult are welcome
Animals – well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome
What to wear and bring – Wear sturdy footgear and weather appropriate clothing. Conditions are often windy and cold if you are walking on the open bog roads during winter.
Suggested to bring – Binoculars, cameras, walking stick, back pack, snacks, and water
