Ring in 2015 during First Night Haddonfield, a family-friendly, alcohol-free evening of fun in Downtown Haddonfield. First Night features a spectacular New Year’s Eve celebration complete with live entertainment, fireworks, family activities and fun for all ages. With the support of the entire South Jersey community – Haddonfield is proud to host one of the longest running, fiscally responsible and culturally significant First Nights in the Country.
This 17-year tradition plans to offer something for every member of the family to enjoy with more than 40 performances in 20 unique venues on Kings Highway. Entertainment includes music, dance, theater, comedy and magic with special children’s performance in the KidZone located in the Central/Middle School. Other festivities taking place during the six-hour event include a family countdown and a spectacular fireworks display that will take place at 9 p.m. DJ Ray will host the countdown to midnight and a late night dance party at the Middle School.
Headliners: The Screaming Orphans, The Unexpected Boys – Frankie Valli And The Four Seasons/Jersey Boys, The Doo-Wah Riders and The Unexpected Surfer Boys
Transportation: Free parking at PATCO. Beginning at 6 p.m. shuttle buses are available to transport participants to participating venues along Kings Highway. Shuttles run about every 15 minutes and include stops at the Methodist Church, Central/Middle School, Kings Court Gazebo, opposite Starbucks, Indian King Tavern, Haddon Fortnightly, and Haddonfield Memorial High School.
Dining: First Night Café, located in Central/ Middle School will serve dinner and light snacks from 6 p.m. – midnight. Local restaurants will be open and encourage reservations.
