History Hike of Whitesbog Village
|1:00 pm - 2:00 pm|
Tour groups help decide the route of the tour based on their interests! Blueberry fields? Cranberry Bogs? Nature trails? Architecture? Women’s History? You help decide!
These hikes will be outdoor only, please dress for the weather, bring water and appropriate shoes for sandy, grassy, sometimes muddy trails with roots. We recommend bug spray and we have some on the porch if needed. Bring your mask and please practice social distancing.
The first Saturday of each month we have a Volunteer Service Day, History Hike and a Saturday Market from 10 – 2.
Walk the Historic Village, learn about Whitesbog’s role in history and visit Suningive, the worker’s cottage and other museums, buildings and farm landscapes that speak to Whitesbog’s heritage.
$10.00 suggested donation/person, You can arrive between 12:30 – 1:00 to let the guide or shopkeeper at the General Store know you will be attending and pay your fee.
Feel free to check out a hiking trail, drive around the cranberry bogs, shop at the General Store or relax in a rocking chair on the porch! Pick up a trail map at the Whitesbog Kiosk for a hike on your own.
History Hikes take place on the First Saturday of each month from 1-2 pm and meet in the General Store. We will walk in light rain, please dress of the weather.
