Lines on the Pines, an indoor event celebrating the New Jersey Pine Barrens, returns to the Stockton University Student Center. The 14th annual event features book signing, history, arts, humanities, craft show, and is free and open to the public. This event is presented by It’s a Sign of the Pines, a 501(c) (3) New Jersey nonprofit corporation dedicated to sharing the wonders of the Pine Barrens.

Lines on the Pines is proud to offer a new program for kids – The PB&J’s (The Pine Barrens and Juniors). This unique opportunity enables children to learn about the Pine Barrens and earn a patch at the event. Mike McCormick of South Jersey Trails, has developed a booklet for junior explorers detailing the mission and the pledge of the PB&J program, as well as listing activities that can be completed during the event.

This year the theme is “Paws and Claws” to encourage kids to learn about animal tracks. During the day, kids will have different activities that will tach them more about paws and claws. Activities will include clay stamping, basket weaving, use of the giant Word Board, visits with live animals, and more!
