This month the Perkins Center for the Arts FREE Lunch & Learn features a local artist who became successful as an illustrator working to capture important moments in the courtroom. So come to Moorestown and bring your lunch!

Bill Ternay was raised on a farm in Pittsgrove Township, NJ, where his parents also owned the local country store. A 1964 graduate of what is now the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Bill’s first job was in the art department of KYW-TV 3 and the Mike Douglas Show, where his duties included sketching in the courts for Eyewitness News. Since leaving channel 3 in 1974, Bill has taught painting workshops in Provence, France and art centers in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maine. He is a former president of the Philadelphia Water Color Society, and currently teaches at the Barn Studio of Art in Millville, NJ.
