Learn How Perkins Center’s Potters are Working to Eliminate Hunger.

In a time of year that focuses on thankfulness and community involvement, join the Perkins Center’s Moorestown pottery studio and learn about how the arts are evoking social responsibility through the annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser.

Paul Serena, Perkins Center’s Pottery Studio Manager and coordinator of the annual Empty Bowls fundraiser will be discussing the history of Empty Bowls, the Center’s charitable motivation for the event and present a bowl making demonstration.

This Lunch & Learn is part of a series of conversations featuring culturally focused lectures designed to connect and introduce topics of interest in South Jersey. Bring your lunch to Perkins Center, Moorestown on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 12:30pm – 1:30pm for a free cultural conversation.
