Learn about the The Revolutionary War in Burlington County

Thursday, October 3, 7:30pm
Friends Meeting House, 14 Union St.

Burlington County has a rich and varied history, but the most important thing to happen in Burlington County was the American Revolution. That’s right, “in” Burlington County. This county not only furnished men and material for the war effort, but actual battles occurred right here. Join the Rev War Alliance of Burlington County for three programs this fall and learn just how important Burlington County was during this tumultuous time.

On October 3 will take you to the sites in Burlington County where the fighting actually occurred. From December of 1776 to June of 1778 Burlington County was buzzing with activity from both armies trying to gain a strategic advantage.

-The final presentation on November 7, tells the story of the American Revolution from a woman’s point of view. Meet the women of Burlington County who in many cases influenced the outcome of the war.

Members of The Rev War Alliance will have artifacts on display and can answer questions after the lectures and
light refreshments will be served.
