As part of its commitment to making holiday shopping in Haddonfield the best experience it can be, the downtown will once again extend its annual Small Business Saturday celebration and sales event to three days – Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 28, 29 and 30.

The weekend is dedicated to supporting small businesses during one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year. Haddonfield, NJ invites everyone to ‘shop small’ at their favorite Haddonfield shop or restaurant – and help fuel the local economy.

Merchants will be going all out to make this shopping experience extra special with incentives, trunk shows and other promotions. Or, create your own sale with town-wide gift certificates, which will be available at the Information Center at a 10% discount.

Friday, November 28 is also the kick-off to the Holiday Season and Candlelight Shopping. A tree lighting ceremony will take place at the Borough Holiday Tree at Library Point at 6:30 p.m. followed by a parade with Santa to Kings Court. Santa will sit in the Gazebo from 6 – 9 p.m. Musical performances include Haddonfield’s Pick Up Band, the Mp4! Quartet, Shades of Harmony Chorus, Dr. Lou’s Quartet and Pine Barons Chorus. Horse-drawn carriage rides will be available for all from 6 – 9 p.m. Haddonfield’s beautiful downtown will be decorated throughout the month of December with sparkling white lights and glowing trees; and the streets of Haddonfield will be lined with luminaries on Friday nights during Candlelight Shopping – providing holiday warmth and a festive atmosphere for shoppers.

On Small Business Saturday, November 29, shoppers can enjoy entertainment by DJ Frank Staff throughout the afternoon from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at two locations – Shops at 116 and Kings Court. There will also be horse-drawn carriage rides from noon – 3 p.m.

In addition, parking is free throughout Haddonfield during the holiday season from Black Friday to Christmas Day.

Many of Haddonfield’s businesses will have discounts and special offers exclusively for Small Business Weekend. Please visit for an up-to-date list of businesses and their specials.

In addition to unique clothing, gift, bridal, and novelty shops, Haddonfield also offers an assortment of dining options – including fine restaurants, quaint coffee shops, and sweet ice cream parlors. Fine chef-owned BYOBs offer a range of cuisines like Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Indian and more; fun & casual dining offers include hoagies, pizza, organic juice drinks, crepes, ice cream and more; and an array of gourmet and food-oriented retailers sell everything from gourmet cupcakes and specialty olive oils to food items from France and the British Isles. The chefs of Haddonfield provide guests an authentic experience with unique menu items offering savory dining options sure to meet the appetite of any hungry shopper.
