Youth and spring are on dazzling display with early works by Mozart and Schubert and Respighi’s charming depiction of birdsong. Tchaikovsky’s Variations on a Rococo Theme displays the talents of Symphony in C’s Principal Cello, Yoni Draiblate.

Symphony in C, formerly known as the Haddonfield Symphony, is a professional training orchestra based in Southern New Jersey. Founded in 1952, Symphony in C’s mission to train young professionals is similar to that of the Chicago Civic Orchestra and Miami’s New World Symphony. The orchestra’s home is The Gordon Theater on the campus of Rutgers–Camden University under the leadership of Music Director Stilian Kirov. In addition to performance at Rutgers-Camden, Symphony in C offer Chamber Music performance through its Virtuosi Series as well as a number of educational programs and performances for children and teens.
