The Rowan University Department of Theatre & Dance opens its mainstage season with a new staging of Shakespeare’s classic coming-of-age tale, re-set in the early 1980s, Gothic and Goth meet as Hamlet and his friends explore mysticism through their fantasy role playing. In their minds, they enter the world of Elsinore as they look for meaning, purpose, and peace in their fast changing lives. Tickets are $15 and $10. Rowan student tickets are free with valid ID.

Trigger Warning: This production portrays characters who consider suicide and contains themes and theatrical depictions of suicide that may be troubling or inappropriate for some audience members.

Located in Bunce Hall on the university’s Glassboro campus
