Kick-Off the Start of Summer in South Jersey

There’s no better way to spend the official first weekend of summer then by heading outside and taking advantage of everything South Jersey has to offer! Wine, beer, and blueberry festivals are just a few of the 20+ events happening this weekend, so there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy!


1. 6th Annual Washington Lake Park Wine Festival
June 23 & 24 | 12 PM – 5 PM
Washington Lake Park, Sewell

The Washington Lake Park Wine Festival is back for its 6th year! Grab a cozy lounge chair, enjoy the gorgeous location, and have your souvenir wine glass ready because sipping starts right away! The festival will have 15 wineries offering nearly 250 refreshing wines, as well as live music, artisan crafters, and food trucks. 2. New Jersey Craft Beer Festival
Saturday, June 23 | 1 PM – 5 PM
Battleship New Jersey, Camden Waterfront

Enjoy beer from New Jersey’s craft brewers on the Battleship New Jersey! There will be plenty of music and food, in addition to tours of the ship. General admission tickets are $50 and include a self-guided tour, live music, and a commemorative tasting glass. VIP tickets are also available at $75 for a limited number of adults and include a private sampling of special beers and meet the brewers at 12 PM. This event is rain or shine. MORE >


3. Food Truck Friday

White Horse Winery, Hammonton

Start your weekend off right with food trucks and live music at White Horse Winery! White Horse Winery’s live music performances are held in their spacious tasting room or on their outdoor patio depending upon weather. 4. Woodstown Fourth Friday

Join Historic Woodstown for Fourth Friday along Main Street sponsored by the Woodstown-Pilesgrove Business Association. 7. Lindenwold Park Concert Series

The Camden County Board of Freeholders presents Edgardo Cintron’s Inca Band as part of the Lindenwold Park Concert Series! The Inca Band is a group of excellent musicians paying honor and tribute to one of the most influential guitarists the music industry has ever known – Carlos Santana. 8. Journey Between Two Rivers

10. 35th Annual Blueberry Festival
June 23 & 24 | 10 AM – 4 PM
Whitesbog Village, Browns Mills

Kick-off the blueberry harvest season at the 35th Annual Whitesbog Blueberry Festival! The weekend will feature so many blueberries! Visitors can taste berries from the local farm and take home a pint or a flat, pick berries fresh on original heritage plants, eat blueberries in locally made pies, muffins, cakes, jams, preserves, fried, blueberry drinks, blueberry wine, cider, syrup, and so much more! 11. Fantasy Faire
June 23 & 24 | 10 AM – 5 PM
WheatonArts, Millville

Fantasy Faire at WheatonArts is an annual outdoor event featuring talented performers as they bring to life the “Kingdom of Wheaton” by enacting a series of interconnected shows that tell the story of the day. Strolling costumed characters portraying historical and mythical figures will interact with each other and visitors throughout the campus during both days. 12. Not Your Mother’s Music Festival

Proprietor’s Park, Gloucester City

Not Your Mother’s Music Festival is a free event open to the public that features two stages of non-stop music with headliner Drake Bell! There will also be professional BMX and skateboarding demonstrations, yoga, art and handcraft vendors, kids bounce amusements, workshops, and fun and healthy food trucks. 13. Hidden Pond Farm Music Festival

Pine Tavern Distillery is hosting the first annual Hidden Pond Farm Music Festival! The festival features Bluegrass artists DNR, AKA, and The White Cheddar Boys, along with singer/songwriters Ellie Spy and Ray Gervato. 16. Run the Vineyards

Hammonton is the Blueberry Capital of the World and the Red, White, and Blueberry Festival is one of the biggest and best around! 19. Parada San Juan Bautista Inc.

Historic Smithville Mansion, Eastampton

The Camden County Board of Freeholders welcomes you to the 27th Annual Sunset Jazz Series! Four-time Grammy Award Winner Stanley Clarke has attained “living legend” status during his over 40-year career as a bass virtuoso. He is the first bassist in history who doubles on acoustic and electric bass with equal ferocity and the first jazz-fusion bassist ever to headline tours, selling out shows worldwide.
