The Nothnagle Log House, a one-room cabin was said to have been built by Benjamin Braman in the mid-1600’s and is the oldest standing wooden structure on the North American continent. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976 and is still privately owned. The cabin is opened for tours by appointment through current owners, Harry and Doris Rink, who reside in the adjoining structure.
