Washington Lake Park, covering 330 acres, is the largest municipal park in New Jersey. The park was developed over the course of many years with municipal funds and assistance from the NJ Green Acres Program, and was dedicated in 1992.

The park trails are open daily from sunrise to sunset. The park boasts 3 playground areas, all are ADA compliant and two are handicap accessible. The youth sport programs get to enjoy the many athletic fields including softball, baseball, soccer, and lacrosse. Open to the public are basketball courts, tennis courts, sand volley ball courts, two covered pavilions with grills that are available to reserve, a koi pond, cedar lake where you can fish, paved and natural walking trails, multi-use recreation area available to reserve that includes futsal, dodgeball, basketball, and restroom facilities.

There is a separate dog park available within the park. Dogs are NOT allowed in regular park area.
