The leaves are falling, decorations are popping up, and things are getting spooky as the spirit of Halloween takes over across South Jersey. Enjoy socially distanced events in your best spooky attire and venture around to check out the Halloween decorations. Most events are family-friendly, but are marked with an * if not. Monster Mash Cupcake Decorating for Kids! – Virtual
Join Cara Griffin virtually on Zoom while she teaches how to decorate fall and Halloween themed cupcakes! You will have a chance to pick up your pre-baked cupcakes and decorating kit at the Farmhouse before class. Each participant will be emailed a Zoom link prior to class on Wednesday, October 28 from 6pm – 8pm. More>

Drive-In Movie – Hotel Transylvania – Easthampton
Transylvania will be shown on the big drive-in screen at Smithville Park in Eastampton! Stay in your car and tune the dial to the movie audio or sit directly in front of your vehicle. Movie starts at 6:30 PM (or dusk). FREE family fun! Saturday, October 24th at 6:30pm. More>

Trick-or-Tricking On Medford Main Street
Bring the kids dressed up in their Halloween costumes to Trick-or-Treat at Medford Main Street businesses. We will be passing out candies “contactless”; meaning with gloves or tongs to avoid touching the candy. Don’t forget to treat yourself to our local restaurants or grab a drink at the brewery. Truck or Treat – West Berlin
Save Halloween! Join Diggerland in their parking lot in West Berlin NJ for a FREE Halloween event. Witness some totally unique trucks and vehicles while safely getting treats from several vendors. Halloween House Decorating Contest – Haddon Heights
The library is excited to host the fifth annual Halloween House Decorating Contest. The registration period has closed, but residents are welcome to vote on the library website as well as on Facebook beginning on October 19. Winners will be announced on November 1. There are three categories: Scariest, Most Creative and Judge’s Favorite. The winners will get their name on a plaque in the library as well as gift certificates to local merchants. All decorations should be visible from the sidewalk or street. More>

Racks Pub and Grill Atco and GMF want you to come be a part of their annual Halloween party! Get dressed up and have a blast all the while staying completely safe with socially distanced seating. Collingswood Boo Crew Events
The Borough of Collingswood is holding a virtual business and residential home decorating contest. Entries for this event include photo submissions, with winners announced October 26 for businesses and October 27 for homes. The final virtual event is a costume contest! Photo submissions accepted in the infant, child, adult and pet categories from October 25-31. Winners announced via social media on November 2. The in-person but socially distanced Drive-Thru Trick-or-Treat will take place on October 31 from 3pm-4pm at The Rite Auditorium parking lot at 315 White Horse Pike. The Collingswood Fire Department, Police Department and some local community groups will gather with a backdrop of giant Halloween inflatables to pass out prepackaged snacks and gifts. Halloween BOOgie Walk – Mullica Hill
Families will be able to enter the BOOgie Walk together maintaining 6ft. from those in front. Halloween Bags will be given at the beginning or you may bring your own. There will be fun activities along the walk and candy will be handed out with creepy tongs to avoid contact. At the end of the walk, families may take a group picture in front of our Halloween Backdrop. Each child will be given a small pumpkin to carve or decorate at home. Halloween Kids Trunk or Treat & A Movie – Williamstown
Rhythm & Reels presents Hotel Transylvania this Halloween for the kids to enjoy their trunk or treating! Each car is encouraged to bring individually wrapped candy for distribution, and the best dressed vehicle wins a prize. Families are encouraged to make a night of it by ordering dinner from our contactless concession stand and enjoy the show. Food will be delivered to your parking spot.
