Transportation 

Haddonfield is an easily accessible town to get to no matter where you are coming from. There is a Patco Station located right in the heart of town that goes from Lindenwold, New Jersey to 16th & Locust in Philadelphia. It is also a ten minute drive from both the Ben Franklin and Walt Whitman bridges as well as a twelve minute drive right off of the New Jersey Turnpike. 

Another great thing about Haddonfield is that it also happens to be surrounded by many other tourist cities and spots that are easily accessible to travel to. With just a 5 minute drive, you can reach Haddon Township, Collingswood and Cherry Hill which also offer a numerous amount of dining, shopping and entertainment.

I know that not everyone has the same taste so I have designed a full “pick-your-own” itinerary with a handful of Haddonfield’s famous dining options so that you can customize your trip to suit you and your fellow travelers!

If you’re someone who likes to start their day off with a delicious cold brew coffee or maybe a sweet lattè, Haddonfield is known for a  spot right in the heart of town called Saxby’s! This coffee house contains deliciously brewed coffee as well as pastries and breakfast items for that morning pick-me-up! For a more elaborate dining scene to get that morning pick-me-up, there are a few great breakfast and brunch spots that you will not want to miss. 

Cafè Lift is Haddonfield’s newest and most trendiest addition with signature items such as Brussel Sprout Toast, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and Breakfast Poutine. Open for brunch only.

 

 

 

The Bistro is a Haddonfield classic with a Greek inspired menu. It was voted best outdoor dining in Haddonfield and you can dine outside all year round! They have warm and cozy heaters to accompany you as well as a huge menu to be sure that you will find something that you love. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 

 

 

Right around the corner from Haddonfield, in Collingswood is a terrific place called Sabrina’s Cafè. This spot has amazing sweet and savory food, unique coffees, and a chic atmosphere! 

 

 

 

Something unique about the dining scene in Haddonfield is that they offer a variety of different cuisines from many different cultures all just a walk away from each other. I like to call it the EPCOT of South Jersey! You are pretty much destined to find something that you will love or maybe something you’ve never tried before! Here are some options to pick what YOU are in the mood for. Wanda BYOB is open for dinner everyday as well as weekend brunch and lunch. This unique spot offers a variety of different French inspired cuisine and amazing desserts! Megu is the perfect place to go to if you’re having that Japanese sushi craving! All of the ingredients are incredibly fresh and the meals are plated to perfection. You don’t need to travel to England for fish and chips when you can just stroll  to The British Chip Shop right in Downtown Haddonfield. This BYOB is quite the unique spot for lunch and some afternoon tea. Open for lunch and dinner. In the mood for some Mediterranean? Zaffron Mediterranean Cuisine is just the spot for that! With fresh, made-to-order cuisine, this is a spot like no other! They also feature a new hummus every month! Open for lunch and dinner. Mare Monte is a fine dining experience in Haddonfield with exquisite dishes and the perfect Italian experience. Not to mention, their desserts are truly an experience within themselves! 

 


Looking for a spot to day drink? Or maybe even a night cap? Luckily Haddonfield offers both a brewery and a winery right Downtown! C’mon! It really can’t get any better than this!

Fun fact: Haddonfield was actually a dry town until Kings Road Brewery came along! They have a magnificent tasting room, beer garden and wonderful service! A great spot for all of those craft beer lovers.

 

 

 

This small and intimate tasting room is the perfect spot for all of those chill wine lovers. William Heritage Winery offers wine by the bottle, tasting flights and curated cheese boards! 

 

 

 

 

Got a sweet tooth? You’re in luck because Haddonfield offers a ton of spots with local handmade desserts! Whether you want a cookie, icecream, pastry or chocolate, you will be sure to find the perfect spot. Some of the local-favorite stores  include DiBartolo’s Bakery, Downtown Cookies, T-Swirl Crepe, Gelato Dolceria and much more! You are certain to find something that you will love!


Adventure and Family Fun

Despite the delicious food scene in Downtown Haddonfield, there are also many things to do for some family fun, relaxation, historical knowledge and small business shopping!

 

Did you know that the world’s first dinosaur skeleton was found right in the heart of Downtown Haddonfield in October of 1858? It was the almost complete skeleton of a Hadrosaurus foulkii. In October of 2003, an eight foot statue was placed right in the same spot of the remains to commemorate this historical experience. It is truly a fascinating landmark to see in town. You have to check it out!

 

Take a step back in time at the Indian King Tavern Museum. This 200 year old facility is like walking right  into a 1700’s building. They offer tours and history lessons to honor and educate the American Revolution.

7.5 miles from Downtown Haddonfield is a South Jersey famous landmark, The Camden Adventure Aquarium. It was voted the Top 8 Aquarium in the U.S.! Such a fun spot to bring the kids and explore fascinating underwater life!

 

 

 

WinterFest Ice Skating will still be open until late February at Cooper River Park just outside of Downtown Haddonfield! WinterFest is a fun-filled spot for all ages! Test out your ice skating skills and have fun with the fam!
