This festival brings thousands of people together to enjoy a series of artists and a spectacular firework show from Serpico Pyrotechnics. Be sure to come to the Camden Waterfront for food, beer, music, and fireworks in celebration of the annual Freedom Festival! 

Fireworks on Battleship New Jersey

July 3 @ 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm EDT

On Wednesday, July 3, watch the Independence Week Fireworks from the Battleship’s main deck, where we’ll have live music, temporary tattoos for kids, food concessions and bar service. Just a $10 donation for general public fireworks viewing.

Fourth of July Firecracker 5k

Come celebrate with us at the Salem County Fairgrounds (735 Route 40, Pilesgrove) this Fourth of July! We’ll be holding the Firecracker 5k at 8 am. At 4 pm the gates open for our festival and fireworks.

Smithville 4th of July Parade

Come out and celebrate our Nations’ birth! Historic Smithville has the largest Fourth of July parade in all of New Jersey. The parade will start at 9 a.m. with an expected 10,000 people to line the parade route. If you are interested in participating in the Fourth of July Parade you must pre-register, more information is given in the link below. Historic Smithville offers 50 Shoppes, 7 eateries, carousel ride, train ride, paddle boats, on-site lodging at the Colonial Inn and over 26 free weekend events!

Woodstown 4th of July Parade

Some have said our parade is right out of a Norman Rockwell painting.  We are a  traditional and quaint parade running down Main Street. Both sides of the street are lined with spectators waiving our American flag. Every home boasts a flag and every porch has homeowners, family and friends anxiously awaiting that first fire truck.  Come join us for the pride and joy of Salem County, our 4th of July Celebration.

Raft Race — Riverton 4th

July 4 @ 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm EDT

The Raft Race is a must-see event! Come on down to the Riverton Yacht Club to watch our intrepid sailors sink, swim, and occasionally paddle their way to victory! Returning this year is a kayak race! Contestants steering planks of polystyrene, plywood-topped inner tubes, PVC half-pipes with garden rakes, kitchen brooms, and Lego-like plastic paddles, because anything truly from the nautical realm is not allowed in this zany race.  That’s right, if it’s from a real boat or raft, it’s not allowed! Awards are presented for creativity, biggest spectacle, best-dressed and other honors. Be on the lookout for pirate attacks!

Independence Day Celebrations in Collingswood for 2024!

6:30PM: Gates open at the high school field for fireworks. Fireworks can also be viewed from Knight Park (Note: there is no parking in the park on July 4). 

7:45PM: Performance by TO THE MAX
