Prehistoric Pours with Jet Wine Bar at Edelman Fossil Museum

On Friday, November 13, Edelman Fossil Park & Museum is partnering with Jill Weber, archaeologist and owner of Philadelphia’s Jet Wine Bar, for an interactive, guided tour and wine tasting that explores the unique terroir of these fossil discoveries.

The event will feature five unique tasting stations where Jill and the Edelman team explore the history of the fossils and how wines from these ancient terroirs taste. The experience will start in New Jersey with the premier discovery of the Hadrosaur, while enjoying wines from the soils where the duck-billed dinosaur once roamed. Guests will also discover how fossils from Morocco, Patagonia, and Mexico connect to the Late Cretaceous landscape that the Edelman Fossil Park & Museum is found on today. To accompany the wine tastings at each station, 12th Street Catering will provide complimentary food pairings.

Tickets for the event are $175 and include access to the museum, five three-ounce wine pours with food pairings provided by 12th Street Catering, a guided tour by Jill Weber and the Edelman Fossil Park & Museum team, and a complimentary ticket to return to the museum.
