Juneteenth is the nation’s oldest commemoration of the end to slavery! The day commemorates June 19, 1865, when Union soldiers arrived in Texas with news that the Civil War had ended. The event runs from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 17th and will feature music, food, vendors, speakers, performances and more!
