Rainbow Meadow Park
In the summer of 2022, the Burlington County Commissioners approved renaming Laurel Run Park in Delran to Rainbow Meadow Park in recognition of the former peach farm, Rainbow Meadow Farm, that graced the property before the County preserved it and made it a park. Sit in the sheltered picnic area and enjoy the rolling fields of what was once a peach farm owned by the Anderson Family. The farm roads now make up a one-mile trail that guides visitors along the farm field edges to the Rancocas Creek, where one can fish or just relax and take in beautiful views of the water. Facing the Rancocas Creek, this park is ideal for watching birds. Trees lining the edge give sheltered views of northern pintails, mergansers, goldeneyes, and double-crested cormorants in the winter months.
Current improvements to the park include a paved parking area; picnic area with pavilion and charcoal grills; and portable restroom with enclosure. Future improvements will enhance the trail system and provide additional amenities to make visiting the park even more enjoyable.
We hope you enjoy what we’ve completed thus far. Let us know how we’re doing.
