2025 MEDFORD OKTOBERFEST & MUSIC FESTIVAL

“Medford’s Biggest Party of the Year”

FEATURING FREE PERFORMANCES BY REMEMBER JONES, WILLIAMS HONOR, NIK GREELEY & THE OPERATORS, QUAKER CITY STRING BAND AND MANY MORE

The Medford Business Association brings the annual Medford Oktoberfest & Music Festival to Medford, New Jersey on Friday September 19, 2025 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday September 20, 2025 from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Freedom Park, 86 Union Street.

PRESENTED BY: Zallie Family Markets and King’s Road Brewing Company

Parking and admission are free, and the event is open to all ages.

This family-friendly festival brings thousands of visitors locally and from afar each year to celebrate the first weekend of Oktoberfest in Munich and around the world. Visitors will enjoy a fantastic lineup of Music & Entertainment, an expansive Beer Garden, delicious Food Trucks including German Food, the Business & Vendor Expo, fun Kids’ ActivitiesContests, and so much more—all in one festive, walkable park setting.

THE TWO-DAY FESTIVAL WILL FEATURE 20 MUSICAL ARTISTS ON THREE STAGES.

CORNERSTONE PEO MAIN STAGE

Friday night’s lineup will be headlined by Asbury Park’s Remember Jones, a captivating showman, soul/pop singer, storyteller and bandleader.  Recently recognized as one of the Most Influential Figures in New Jersey Entertainment (Asbury Park Press/USA Today), and featured several times in Rolling Stone magazine, Remember Jones will bring his high-energy band to kick start Oktoberfest around the world with a massive party set featuring his original music and reimagined covers.  Philadelphia’s Groove Merchants open the main stage show at 5:15 p.m.

On Saturday, featured artist Williams Honor (led by Reagan Richards and Gordon Brown) will bring its “Jersey Country” sound to the main stage, which is what you would get if Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, or Dolly Parton were backed up by the E Street Band or the Rolling Stones with lots of big harmonies and rock ‘n roll energy.  Williams Honor will be followed by the day’s other featured artist, Nik Greeley and the Operators.  Nik is well known for being arguably the best frontman and performer in Philadelphia, backed by a collective of some of the city’s best musicians.  Saturday’s main stage will also include live performances by East Brunswick rocker Bobby Mahoney, Delaware’s Blues Reincarnation Project, Medford’s roots music collective The Quixote Project, and a festival-closing set from Asbury Park’s Des & The Swagmatics.

ARCHER LAW GAZEBO STAGES

On Saturday, 2024 and 2025 Mummers Parade Champion Quaker City String Band will make its Oktoberfest debut. Renowned for its musicianship and performance style, QCSB is the quintessential ambassador of the Mummers’ tradition. Saturday’s Archer Law Stage will also see sets from Adventure Lost, Seems Like Tuesday, Project Philly (a cappella), the Brass Ensemble from the South Jersey Pops, and Mekkilyn with special guest Bob Egan.

Friday’s Archer Law Stage lineup will see the return of the popular pop-punk band All Systems Go, plus performances by Coop A Loop, Twist It, and the Medford campus of the New Jersey School of Music.

Students from Today’s Dance Center will demonstrate and teach German folk dance at various points and stages throughout Saturday’s festivities.

Performing at both the Archer Law Stage and in the Beer Garden on Saturday, Doppelganger returns after its successful debut last year with traditional German folk tunes and reimagined popular songs.

FESTIVAL FOOD / FUN / FESTIVITIES

BEER GARDEN – Once again, the massive Taunton Forge Liquors Beer Tent returns, serving well-known national and international brands, Oktoberfest brews, and local crafts from all four Medford breweries.

FOOD TRUCKS – Enjoy our featured German Food by Innovative Catering Concepts as well as a broad range of multi-cultural delights (think Americana to Filipino) from over a dozen food trucks. The festival would not be complete without dessert! Enjoy a variety of desserts to satisfy every palette.

CONTESTS– The popular Bavarian Steinholding competition, sponsored by King’s Road Brewing Company and sanctioned by the US Steinholding Association, will be held on both Friday and Saturday.  One man and one woman will qualify to advance to the New Jersey State Finals in October at the Feed Mill in Medford.  Interested participants can sign up in person at the event while spots last.  Magnify Brewing Company’s Bratwurst Eating Contest will also return on Saturday, with local “celebrities” competing for charity to see who can eat a loaded bratwurst the fastest.  Lower Forge Brewery once again will present a trivia contest where festival attendees can compete on their personal devices for a chance to win prizes from the Medford brewery.

By popular demand, United Cornhole Federation will once again host a double elimination Cornhole Tournament with cash prizes.  Interested players can sign up in advance as individuals or teammates on the Scoreholio app.  The popular TD Bank Business Zone returns on both days with scores of local businesses, crafters, artisans, and more.

FAMILY FUN IN THE KIDS ZONE – Children of all ages are welcome to attend both days, and there will be special activities just for them on Saturday in the Kid’s Zone sponsored by Medford Mini Storage with crafts and activities for toddlers through pre-teens curated by Medford’s Pineland Arts Center.  Mini Golf is a new addition to the Kids Zone this year by Mini Golf To Go.

BUSINESS & VENDOR EXP – Meet the area’s vibrant showcase of businesses, vendors and crafters who keep our community thriving in the TD Bank Business Zone.  Discover unique handmade goods, try product demos, learn about services you didn’t know you needed.
