Bees Deluxe, New Hampshire State 2025 Blues Challenge Winners, with opener Renee Maskin

Bees Deluxe, fresh off their win at the 2025 New Hampshire State Blues Challenge, returns to The Lizzie Rose Music Room on August 15. The band, recognized for their energetic performances and unique approach to blues, previously shared this stage with legends like Mike Zito and Joanne Connor. This year, they headline the evening with acclaimed Asbury Park singer-songwriter Renee Maskin opening.

Winners of the Granite State Blues Challenge, Bees Deluxe will represent New Hampshire at the International Blues Competition in Memphis in January 2026.

Their sound is a bold blend of 60s Chicago electric blues, New Orleans funk, and psychedelic influences—a style they call “acid blues.”

Fronted by British guitar virtuoso Conrad Warre, Bees Deluxe is known for masterful musicianship and innovative reinterpretations of blues traditions. Bees Deluxe take risks, painting outside the lines with a sound that’s simultaneously lyrical, emotive, and rooted in the blues. Their repertoire includes both original compositions and imaginative takes on classics by artists like Billie Holiday and Jimi Hendrix. The group has toured the entire East Coast, performing alongside icons such as Ronnie Earl, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Mike Zito, Walter Trout, Joanna Connor, Matt Schofield, and Roomful of Blues.
