Welcome to the April 2026
Camden County History Alliance E-Newsletter

The Camden County History Alliance is excited to announce the publication of this year’s Camden County Heritage magazine! The theme this year is Anniversaries & Commemorations in Camden County, as we celebrate America’s 250th. Pick up your free copy at any of the historical organizations in Camden County!
We invite you to continue to celebrate America’s 250th at some of the many history events in Camden County this month! Enjoy some hands-on colonial life at the Gabreil Daveis Tavern’s Revolutionary Weekend event, or learn about the 1777 Princeton Battlefield at Haddonfield’s Candlelight Dinner. Explore the Black experience with the Lawnside Historical Society’s 100th Anniversary exhibit, or at a forum about the values of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King. Learn about early locomotives, or visit a historic railroad depot. Commemorate the Holocaust, or watch a film about those who experienced it. Hear about ancient fossils, or take the youngest generation to get their Easter baskets blessed as a continuation of old traditions. There are so many ways to experience Camden County’s history this month! We hope you enjoy exploring our past!
