Gloucester County 4-H Fair
July 24 @ 10:00 am - July 27 @ 5:00 pm EDT

Gloucester County 4-H is gearing up for its annual fair, running from Thursday, July 24 to Sunday, July 27 at the Gloucester County 4-H Fairgrounds in Mullica Hill, N.J. It’s sure to be a blast! The annual Gloucester County 4-H Fair is a four day-long event that’s fun for the whole family, featuring daily 4-H shows that highlight the skills our 4-H’ers have developed throughout the year.
The fair offers safe, family-friendly entertainment that brings generations of families in South Jersey to our fairgrounds each summer. Experience why “4-H is Out of This World” with equestrian demonstrations, dog agility and obedience shows, livestock exhibits showcasing proper animal care, and a range of educational displays including differences in rabbit breeds and reptiles versus amphibians.
In addition to 4-H club exhibits, enjoy kid-centric activities, craft and food vendors, and daily talented musical performances. Exciting events include a livestock auction (Fri 7:30pm), draft horse pulls (Sat 7:30pm), a car show (Sat 12pm-5pm), and tractor pulls (Fri & Sat 6pm). Fairgoers can enjoy delicious BBQ from Thursday to Saturday and look forward to fair favorites like art contests, a mechanical bull, and pony rides returning due to popular demand. Those of you who have visited the Fair in previous years know to look for that fresh Jersey Fresh produce. New this year includes kiddie amusement rides (Thurs & Fri 4-10pm, Sat 3-10pm), and Fair Royalty Competition (Sun 10am).
Join in the fun by entering our Open Events—dog costume, trick and jumping competitions, canning and baking contests, various art contests, Fair Royalty Competition and Baby Parade, tire and skillet toss, “hobby horse” (stick horse riding) & much more! If you have not visited the Day at the Farm exhibit, that is a great way for your youngsters to learn some basics about farms while having hands-on fun! Be sure to visit us Thursday for Family Night, where kiddie rides are unlimited between 5-9pm with a $25 per child ride pass.
Hosted by the Gloucester County 4-H Fair Association, the fair is a special Gloucester County summertime tradition that draws more than 20,000 attendees from across the tristate area. Proceeds of the fair go to the programs, facilities, and services that benefit 4-H children throughout the year. The Gloucester County 4-H program is supported by the Rutgers Cooperative Extension, the Gloucester County Board of Commissioners, private contributors, and the valued efforts of countless dedicated volunteers.
Parking is $20 per carload, which is good for all four days of the fair. Hours of operation are Thursday to Saturday 10am-10pm, and Sunday 10am-5pm. The Gloucester County 4-H Fairgrounds are located at 275 Bridgeton Pike (Rt. 77), Mullica Hill, NJ.
