Melody and Color Concert with Piano Soloist Alexandre Moutouzkine Kicks off Bay Atlantic Symphony’s 41st Concert Season

Melody and Color is the name of Bay Atlantic Symphony’s first concert of the 2023-2024 season, its 41st. Led by Music Director Maestro Jed Gaylin the concert opens with Composer Alexander Borodin’s symphonic poem In the Steppes of Central Asia, an ancient tale of the Silk Road reminiscing about the long journey and unexpected fellowship. Solo pianist Alexandre Moutouzkine returns to Bay Atlantic Symphony to perform Alexander Scriabin’s Piano Concerto, the famous composer’s only concerto. He’s one of the young, accomplished musicians Bay Atlantic Symphony is featuring this season. Completing the performance is Tchaikovsky’s recognizable Symphony No. 5, a true symphonic music classic full of iconic moments and melodies.
Saturday, October 21 at 3 pm at Guaracini Performing Arts Center (Rowan University Cumberland Campus) 3322 College Dr., Vineland.
Sunday, October 22 at 2 pm at Stockton University’s Performing Arts Center, 101 Vera King Farris Dr., Galloway.
