Moorestown Theater Company Hosts ‘Un-Gala’ THIS SATURDAY (Oct. 11) At 7 PM

October 11, 2025 @ 7:00 pm EDT
$100

MOORESTOWN, NJ (October 7, 2025) — The award-winning, non-profit Moorestown Theater Company (MTC) will continue its 23rd Season by hosting its 15th annual fall fundraising event, our ‘Un-Gala’, THIS Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 7 PM to Midnight at The Venue At Lenola, 229 N. Lenola Road in Moorestown.

Tickets are $100 for this event and are available online on the MTC Website at www.MoorestownTheaterCompany.org. As opposed to our normal ‘black-tie optional’ dress code for our ‘Extrava-Gala’, this year’s event is ‘dressy casual’; so dress like you are attending a casual wedding; for example, dress pants and dress shirts, dresses, or dressy palazzo pants (instead of tuxedos and gowns). This event will feature dinner, drinks, dancing, auction items, and live performances from MTC’s next three musicals: “Something Rotten” (with an adult cast in November), “Annie JR.” (with a children’s cast in December), and “Mary Poppins JR.” (our Jr. Theater Festival performance in January ’26). The performances from “Something Rotten” (which will be our 250th production!) will include dueling ‘Shakespeares’, with Channel 6abc’s 11 PM News Anchor Rick Williams from our ‘Gold’ Cast, and his son Nick Williams from our ‘Black’ Cast.

Including this ‘Un-Gala’ performances, MTC now has these ‘stats’ as we come to the end of our 23rd Season:

2024: 66 performances of 13 productions by 526 performers
2025: 53 performances of 13 productions by 457 performers (with 2 to go)
23 Years: 1,121 performances of 249 productions by 10,414 performers
The Production Staff for the Un-Gala Cabaret includes Producers Mark Morgan and Carol Ann Murray, who served as Director and Vocal Director, respectively.

MTC, which still has “Something Rotten” and “Annie JR.” left in its 23rd Season, with tickets now available online on the website, has received these awards in 2025:

– January ’25: ‘Excellence In Dance’ Award presented to the Cast of “Alice In Wonderland JR.” at the iTheatrics Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta, GA (our first ‘Dance’ Award, and 10th overall, after seven ‘Acting’ and two ‘Music’ Awards)

– January ’25: ‘Freddie G Fellowship’ Award presented to MTC’s Founding Producing Director Mark Morgan at the iTheatrics Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta, GA

– March ’25: ‘40 Fabulous Females’ Award presented to MTC’s Founding Managing Director Carol Ann Murray by Donnelly Media at the Camden County Boat House
