The award-winning Moorestown Theater Company presents its 23rd Annual All-Ages Main Stage Musical on these dates and times in the air-conditioned First Methodist Church (FMC) at 446 E. Camden Avenue in Moorestown:
- Wednesday, July 22 at 7 PM (‘Black’ Cast)
- Thursday July 23 at 7 PM (‘Gold’ Cast)
- Friday, July 24 at 7 PM (‘Black’ Cast)
- Saturday, July 25 at 2 PM (‘Gold’ Cast)
- Sunday, July 26 at 2 PM (‘Black’ Cast)
- Tuesday, July 28 at 7 PM (‘Gold’ Cast)
- Wednesday, July 29 at 7 PM (‘Black’ Cast)
- Thursday, July 30 at 7 PM (‘Gold’ Cast)
This musical, based on a story by Hans Christian Anderson, and with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, is appropriate for audience members of all ages! It will be performed by an all-ages Cast from seven to 77!
Reserved-seat tickets for this story about ‘Ariel’ (‘The Little Mermaid’), her Father ‘King Triton’, her evil Aunt ‘Ursula’, ‘Prince Eric’, and Crab ‘Sebastian’, Seagull ‘Scuttle’, and Guppy ‘Flounder’, plus ‘Mersisters’, Sailors, Chefs, and many other characters, are available at www.MoorestownTheaterCompany.org or at the door at these prices:
- $23 online and $25 at the door for front three rows
- $18 online and $20 at the door for the remaining rows for Adults
- $13 online and $15 at the door for the remaining rows for Seniors and Students
- Tickets are available on line until three hours before ‘curtain time’ (so we can print seating lists for the box office), but they will still be available at the door starting one hour before ‘curtain time’.
While the address for First Methodist Church is at 446 E. Camden Avenue, it’s easier to enter the FMC parking lot from Kings Highway or Pleasant Valley Avenue. Please enter the building through the door near the large flag pole in the parking lot.
The animated 1989 Hollywood Film was nominated for three Academy Awards (winning two, for ‘Best Song’ (“Under The Sea”) and ‘Best Original Score’, and the 2008 Broadway Musical was nominated for two Tony Awards for ‘Best Score’ and ‘Best Lighting’.
