Pinelands Cultural Society 50th Anniversary Show
April 26 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm EDT
$1 – $12.
On April 26, 20205, Albert Music Hall will present a special show for the 50th Anniversary of the Pinelands Cultural Society(PCS). The PCS was established with a goal to preserve the cultural history of the Pinelands, including its music, literature, legends, and artifacts. One of its original goals was to raise funds to build the Albert Music Hall, where Pinelands music and culture could be showcased. That goal was realized with the opening of the current Hall in 1997.
The show will have special guests with connections to the early PCS and performances that reflect aspects of our musical history.
Doors open at 5pm and we will start the show at 6pm. You will hear stories of the Pinelands Cultural Society as well as 5 musical performances. The lineup is as follows:
Stories of the Pinelands Cultural Society
Pete Curry (original Homeplace musician)
Jackson Pines
Katie Sherwood (daughter of founder, Janice Sherwood)
Cranberry Jam
The Last Whippoorwill
Admission is $6, or $1 for kids under 12. Parking is free. The Hall is wheelchair accessible.
The Food Booth will be open and serving Pulled Pork, Kielbasa & Kraut, Meatballs, and Hot Dogs as well as a wide selection of beverages and desserts (including some from the Amish bakery!) The Gift Booth will be open and selling 50th Anniversary merchandise and a selection of Albert Hall, music, and Pinelands themed items. There will be a 50/50.
Come join us to celebrate this important milestone!
