Revolutionary War Encampment
September 5
Step into the world of Washington’s Army as re-enactors recreate the sights, sounds, and daily routines of a Revolutionary War encampment. Walk through military tents, watch cannon and musket demonstrations, and learn how soldiers lived, cooked, trained, and prepared for battle. Throughout the Village, historically clothed interpreters demonstrate traditional trades such as blacksmithing, printing, woodworking, basket weaving, and bookbinding. With hands‑on activities for visitors of all ages and 30 acres of preserved 1800s buildings to explore, it’s a full‑day immersion into America’s fight for independence! Event Fee
