The world’s biggest sporting event is coming to our region, and Visit South Jersey is helping bring the celebration home. Whether you are a lifelong soccer fan, a family looking for a fun summer activity, a young player ready to get on the field, or a visitor exploring the region, there is a way for everyone to be part of the celebration.

“SoccerFest26 at the Camden Waterfront” is designed to create a welcoming and high-energy gathering space for residents and visitors during the 2026 World Cup season, featuring large-screen match screenings, international food and cultural offerings, and community-based soccer programming that brings local recreation groups, nonprofits, and educational partners together. It will also include a curated vendor marketplace with New Jersey craft and gift vendors, and beverage offerings highlighting South Jersey’s award-winning wineries and breweries.

His studio credits include recordings with Michael Jackson, Earth, Wind & Fire, John Legend and The Roots, Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, Alejandro Sanz, and Jill Scott. Her career includes performances alongside artists such as Raheem DeVaughn, Carl Thomas, and The Manhattans, helping establish her as one of South Jersey’s most respected independent artists.

Edgardo Cintron is a second-generation Puerto Rican percussionist and musician known for his vibrant musicianship, warm personality, and generous spirit. Born in Fort Riley, Kansas, Edgardo has built a wide-ranging career shaped by collaborations with talented artists and musicians from around the world. His latest project, Bon Appetit, is a smooth jazz recording featuring original music and contemporary arrangements of some of his favorite songs, with guest artists including Carl Cox and Andrew Neu. Edgardo has performed and recorded with artists such as the Average White Band, Jeff Lorber, Terence Blanchard, The Funk Brothers, Bobby Lyle, Nick Colionne, Billy Davis, and Marilyn McCoo.

Visit South Jersey is teaming up with Rutgers University–Camden Athletics and the NJ Youth Soccer Association to bring fun, fast-paced youth soccer activities to SoccerFest 26 at the Camden Waterfront.

Starting at 9:00 AM each day, young players will take the field for age-based small-sided soccer sessions designed for fun, skill-building, and high-energy play. Sessions will feature 4v4 and 5v5 games with Rutgers-Camden student athletes and coaches helping facilitate safe, relaxed, and enjoyable play.

Sessions are available for ages 6–8, 9–11, and 12–14+. Registration is required, with limited walk-up spots available.

Celebrate Independence Day at the Freedom Festival on July 4 with an unforgettable night of matches, World Cup fun,  live music and fireworks.

Start off the night with match play on the big screens, starting at 5 PM.

Taking the Roland Traynor River Stage at 8 PM, The Commodores will bring their signature blend of funk, soul, and R&B to the waterfront. Known as one of the greatest acts to emerge from Motown, the group has delivered timeless hits ranging from smooth ballads like “Easy” to high-energy classics like “Brick House.”

Following the performance, the celebration will continue with a fireworks display lighting up the night sky.

Visit South Jersey’s Official Watch Party Events will bring the World Cup celebration into communities across South Jersey. These community-based gatherings are designed to give residents and visitors a fun, welcoming place to experience the excitement of the tournament together, even if they cannot attend a match in person.

Hosted in partnership with local communities, these official Visit South Jersey Watch Parties will highlight the spirit of the World Cup while showcasing South Jersey’s downtowns, public spaces, restaurants, small businesses, and community organizations.
