30 Fantastic Fall Festivals Happening in South Jersey

What better way to celebrate the season of pumpkin spice and everything nice than by heading out to one of the South Jersey Fall Festivals of 2023! Each festival offers something unique such as gourmet food trucks and cultural cuisines, handmade crafts and art, exciting history and animal exhibits, and even a little Halloween magic! 

1. South Jersey Apple Fest
September 7 & 8 | 10 AM – 5 PM
Cumberland County Fairgrounds, Millville

The South Jersey Apple Fest features everything apples! There will be artists and craftsmen, a Little Miss Apple Pageant, amazing food, live music, apple butter making, apple dessert contest, apple toss, kids crafts, hayrides, and so much more. Make sure you stop by the vendor fair and Fall Home Show too!

2. Duffield’s Food Truck & Apple Festival
Saturday, September 7 | 11 AM – 5 PM
Duffield’s Farm, Sewell

Duffield’s Food Truck and Apple Festival features fun for the whole family! There will be an amazing lineup of food trucks, as well as live music and family activities. You can also go on a hayride to pick apples!

3. St. Anthony’s Italian Heritage Festival
Saturday, September 14 | 2 PM – 10 PM
Glassboro Town Square, Glassboro

This festival offers a wide variety of delicious and authentic Italian food specialities! Experience a virtual tour of Italy during your visit by dining at various indoor and outdoor dining locations. Enjoy carnival games, live entertainment, cultural exhibits, a homemade wine competition, cannoli eating contest, beer gardens, and, of course, amazing Italian food.

4. Mount Laurel Fall Festival
Saturday, September 21 |  8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Laurel Acres Park, Mount Laurel

HOPE Church is partnering with Mount Laurel Township for their annual Fall Festival held at Laurel Acres Park! There will be food vendors, music and entertainment, crafters, and amusement rides. More than 20,000 people attend the fall festival every year! Additionally, HOPE Church’s booth at the event will host a dog watering station for dogs of all sizes, as well as fun crafts for kids!

5. Fall Craft Show
Saturday, September 21 | 9 AM – 4 PM
Uptown Pitman

Uptown Pitman’s Craft Shows have been a bi-annual event for over 40 years! The Fall Craft Show will be held in the main corridors of Pitman, along Broadway, Pitman, and Ballard Avenues. There will be over 350 vendors showcasing a variety of handcrafted goods. Shoppers can enjoy food trucks and specialities, as well as local businesses, restaurants, non-profits, and more!

6. Autumn with the Animals
Sunday, September 22 | 11 AM – 4 PM
Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge, Medford

Autumn with the Animals is a fall tradition at Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge. Children and adults of all ages can enjoy wildlife programs, live music, nature hikes, child-friendly games, crafts, food, and fun! This is a day meant to reconnect people with one another and the environment.

7. 10th Annual Westville Fall Festival
Saturday, September 28 | 10 AM – 4 PM
Broadway, Westville

Come join us for our Tenth Annual Fall Festival. This free event is held along Broadway from 10 am till 4 pm. This event is fun for the whole family. Enjoy pumpkin painting, hay rides, games, rides, beer garden, craft vendors, food trucks, classic car show, bbq competition, and live music. 8. Woodstown Fall Festival
Saturday, September 28 | 10 AM – 4 PM
Downtown Woodstown

Each year, Woodstown’s historic downtown shopping district comes alive for their Fall Festival! Vendors, crafters, and local shops line the street with their food and wares for sale as music plays from the various stages set around the town. You can also enjoy locally made wine and beer!

9. Historical Soldiers Weekend
September 28 & 29 | 10 AM – 5 PM
Fort Mott State Park, Pennsville

Fort Mott’s Annual Historic Soldiers Weekend features displays and re-enactors from Roman centurions to German border guards during the Cold War. Both days will have live music, weapon demonstrations, and a chance to see camp life in many different time periods. On Saturday night (weather depending), there will be an outdoor movie shown on the wall of the fort.

10. Glassboro Craft Beer Festival
Saturday, September 28 | 12 PM
Glassboro Town Square

Don’t miss the 7th Annual Glassboro Craft Beer Festival! This year is going to be even bigger and better than the rest with an amazing lineup of 50 breweries with delicious beers. In addition to all of the breweries, there will be a variety of food and craft vendors, as well as live music and entertainment. 

11. Gloucester County 4-H Fall Festival
Saturday, September 28 | 4 PM – 9 PM
Gloucester County 4-H Fairgrounds, Mullica Hill 

The Gloucester County 4-H Fall Festival will be fun for the entire family! The event will feature Stall and Treat (they’re version of trunk or treat), a Pumpkin Chunkin’ and so much more! Check back for more details.

12. Fall and Craft Beer Festival
Saturday, September 28 | 1 PM – 6 PM
The Oaklyn Manor Bar, Oaklyn

Oaklyn’s Fall and Craft Beer Festival is a day of fall inspired family fun! There will be crafts, local vendors, live bluegrass music, a craft beer tent, fall inspired food and drinks, kids activities, face painting, pumpkin decorating, a corn hole tournament, and an eating contest! Finish off your day at The Manor with some drinks and dance music with DJ Steve Volkert!

13. Collingswood Book Festival
Saturday, October 5 | 10 AM – 4 PM
Haddon Avenue, Collingswood

The 17th Annual Collingswood Book Festival is the region’s premier literary event! There will be authors and speakers for adults and children, as well as booksellers, storytellers, poetry readings, workshops, exhibitors, kid-friendly activities, and entertainment for all ages. This award-winning festival is the longest running, largest literary event in the Delaware Valley.

14. 20th Annual Festival of Fine Craft
October 5 & 6 | 10 AM – 6 PM
WheatonArts, Millville

The Festival of Fine Craft features the work of approximately 150 juried, contemporary and traditional artists. Throughout the WheatonArts campus, artists working in clay, fiber, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed medium, wearable art, wood, and more will display and sell their work. Attendees will also have a chance to see artist demonstrations, listen to live music, and enjoy refreshments from gourmet food trucks. The crowd-favorite, “WheatonArts Glass Pumpkin Patch” will be displayed in the center of the campus.

15. Cranberry Fest
October 5 & 6 | 11 AM – 5 PM
Downtown Bordentown

This free two-day festival features over 150 crafters, artists, and vendors offering handmade, vintage, and upcycled items for the heart and home, in addition to the town’s own unique shops and restaurants. Guests can enjoy a craft beer garden, live music, a family-friendly kid zone, and more! What better way to spend a beautiful autumn day than exploring, shopping, and dining your way around this South Jersey gem! 

16. Food Truck & Craft Festival 
Saturday, October 5 | 12 PM – 6 PM
Camden County Technical Schools, Sicklerville

Everyone is invited to Camden County Technical Schools’ free Food Truck and Craft Festival! More than 50 artisans and crafters from near and far will be exhibiting a wide variety of handmade fine art including jewelry, florals, textiles, woodworking, iron work, ceramic, personal care items, candles, and more. The food trucks will be cooking up their specialities for you to enjoy and there will also be a children’s section with pumpkin painting, face painting, a dress up photo booth, sand art, and more!

17. Fall Festival Parade

Get your super suits ready, the Fall Parade theme is Superheroes! The Woodbury Parade Committee invites you to join in the fun of the 69th annual Fall Festival Parade down Broad Street this October by sporting your own capes!

18. Fall Float Festival 
Sunday, October 6
Smithville Park, Eastampton

Canoe or kayak down the Rancocas Creek or Smithville Lake and see the fall foliage as you float along! Residents decorate their docks and hope to win your vote as you float! Launching takes place at Historic Smithville Park. Paddlers will be shuttled back to Smithville Park for food, entertainment, and activities for all ages. Enjoy the park on a fun-filled autumn day!

19. Blackwood Pumpkin Festival

MainStage Center of the Arts, Blackwood

Blackwood comes alive on the first Sunday of October with entertainers, vendors, shoppers, and families for the 28th Annual Blackwood Pumpkin Festival presented by MainStage Center for the Arts! The festival features amusement rides, food, music, shopping, live entertainment, pumpkin painting, hayrides, moon bounces, a petting zoo, face painting, scarecrow building, costume contests, a puppy parade, a farmer’s market, and so much more!

20. 16th Annual South Jersey Pumpkin Show
October 12 & 13 | 10 AM – 5 PM
Salem County Fairgrounds, Woodstown

Don’t miss the 16th Annual South Jersey Pumpkin Show! The weekend will feature the Great Pumpkin Weigh Off, a Halloween costume contest, a food festival, a pumpkin dessert contest, live entertainment, amusement rides, wine sampling and so much more! Admission is free and parking is $5 per car.

21. Autumn in Moorestown
Saturday, October 13 | 9 AM – 4 PM
Downtown Moorestown

Autumn in Moorestown is an annual fine arts and crafts festival, as well as an antique and classic car show. Visitors can enjoy live entertainment, great food, pumpkin painting, and much more!

22. Apple Festival
Saturday, October 12 | 9 AM – 4 PM
Kirby’s Mill, Medford

Hosted by the Medford Historical Society and Presented by ShopRite of Medford, the event draws more than 15,000 visitors to browse 120+ hand-made crafters, plus great food, apple cider, apple baked goods, signature apple cider donuts made on-site and specially made apple ice cream. Popular Medford Historical Society apple butter will also be available. Live music will be playing throughout the day.

23. Fall Festival & Craft Show

Downtown Haddonfield

Haddonfield’s annual Fall Festival and Juried Craft has fun for the entire family! Make your own scarecrow at the Haddonfield Farmers’ Market, take a carriage ride around town, and listen to live music! 

24. Electric Halloween Festival
October 18 & 19 
Southwind Vineyard, Millville

Deep in the vineyard is where you’ll find Electric Halloween, a camper’s paradise surrounded by a nostalgic energy and excitement. You’ll hear music you’ve never heard of and see live performance art you never thought was achievable. 25. Brooklawn Fall Festival

Timber Blvd. & Brooklawn’s Waterfront

Spend a beautiful fall day on Brooklawn’s waterfront during their annual Fall Festival! The day will include continuous music with three bands on the main stage, craft vendors, food trucks, kids activities and more! There will be pie eating contests, a fall dessert competition, hayrides, a movie under the stars, K9 demonstrations, and an annual Royalty Competition.

26. Country Living Fair

Batsto Village, Hammonton

There will be something country for everyone. Enjoy crafts, exhibits, music and more at the Batsto Country Living Fair! Guests can see old-time engines and cars, as well as other farm equipment and antiques from the village. There will be pony rides for kids, chainsaw art, quilting, and more!

27. 2019 Fall Festival

The Beer Garden returns sponsored by The Mile in Runnemede. Enjoy over a dozen food trucks and 50+ craft vendors! There will be games and attractions for children like the Firefighter Experience – a new kid-friendly simulated action adventure!

28. Voorhees Township Halloween & Fall Festival

Voorhees Town Center, Voorhees

The annual Voorhees Township Halloween and Fall Festival is a family event with free admission and free parking! It features a pumpkin patch, hayrides, Teal Pumpkin Table, costume parade, bounce houses, face painting, balloon artists, candy, music, and more!

29. Wizards, Witches & Wands

Main Street, Mullica Hill

Mullica Hill transforms to celebrate the Magical World of Wizards, Witches and Wands.  This town-wide event will feature many interactive venues including sorting, broom-making, wand-making, & potion classes as well as numerous photo ops and a costume contest!

30. Harvest Festival & Craft Fair

The Harvest Festival features a farmers market, beer garden, live music, food trucks, and much more!
