Hammonton Independence Day Parade

Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary by taking part in the Hammonton Independence Day Parade on Saturday, July 4 at 4:00 p.m., presented in partnership with the Town of Hammonton, the Hammonton Police Department, and the Hammonton Fire Department, and is proudly sponsored by the Robert Capoferri Foundation. One of the signature events of Hammonton’s America 250 celebration, the parade will bring together marching bands, mummers, community organizations, decorated floats, patriotic performances, emergency vehicles, classic cars, local businesses, and residents for an unforgettable display of hometown pride.
Whether you’re participating in the parade or cheering from the sidelines, spectators can expect a festive atmosphere filled with music, creativity, and patriotic spirit as Bellevue Avenue comes alive with red, white, and blue. Participants will also compete for special awards, including Best Decorated Float, Best Patriotic Bike, Scooter, Wagon & Stroller, and Best Performance, with winners receiving commemorative Hammonton 250th trophies.
The parade is part of a full day of Independence Day festivities throughout Hammonton. Activities begin at Veterans Park from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with live music, food vendors, family activities, historical exhibits, and a patriotic ceremony. The celebration continues at Hammonton High School beginning at 6:00 p.m. with live entertainment, food vendors, and family fun before concluding with a spectacular fireworks display at approximately 9:00 p.m.
