“Alive With History” Cemetery Walking Tour

The Cemetery Walking Tour is also a self guided walking tour and can be done at any pace you wish. It begins in the northern end of town at Trinity “Old Swedes” Church Cemetery, and winds through three other historic cemeteries before ending at Lake Park Cemetery. Many historical figures, which impacted the development of the town and state (including a governor of New Jersey, veterans of the American Revolution, Civil War, Indian Wars and World Wars!) are spending an eternity in Swedesboro.
