5th Annual Clash Of The Titans – Lester Glenn Subaru vs. Point Pleasant Challenger Flag Football Team

Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 17th as the Lester Glenn Subaru team takes on the Point Pleasant Challengers Flag Football team in a an epic Clash of the Titans to help raise awareness and fundraise for the Point Pleasant Challenger Program.
Sunday, August 17th – 12pm – 6pm
Community Park – 2255 Bridge Avenue, Point Pleasant, NJ

This event is open to the public and free to attend.
Tickets and wristbands for the additional activities will be available for purchase on the day of the event! All proceeds go to support the Point Pleasant Challenger Flag Football Program.
About The Point Pleasant Challenger Flag Football Program
The Point Pleasant Challenger Flag Football Program is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that believes that the football field is a place where more than just a game is played. It is a place that can make the world a better place and help bridge the difference and promote understanding of the people with special needs.
Through the program, volunteers learn that people with special needs are not so different than themselves. The volunteers develop an understanding of the challenges their differently abled counterparts face each day.
The challenger athletes have the opportunity to play a team sport, experience a sense of comradery and make physical gains in terms of coordination and endurance while also learning how to work as a member of a team. Developmental skills such as the ability to wait, focus, follow directions and feel a sense of accomplishment are worked on through on the field skills and training.
The Point Pleasant Challenger Flag Football Program was designed to allow children with various types of special needs the opportunity to participate in a team sport that promotes inclusion and helps those with special needs succeed.

About Lester Glenn Subaru
Lester Glenn Auto Group launched a company-wide donation campaign through its Lester Glenn Cares community involvement initiative in January 2020. The Lester Glenn Subaru location selected the Point Pleasant Challenger Flag Football League as its community partner. Since 2020, Lester Glenn Subaru has donated in excess of $60,000 to the organization, while hosting four additional Clash Of The Titans events.
