Bridgeton Main Street’s Bridgeton Holiday House Tour

Great news! You just made a wonderful choice to enjoy Christmas for the day in the largest Historic District in NJ. We have over 2,000 homes on the National Historic Registry. Over 20 selected sites will be on the self-guided tour. Tour will proceed rain, shine or snow.
First stop: Your tour starts at Gallery 50 at 50 East Commerce Street, Bridgeton. You will activate your ticket or purchase more and to get your tour booklet. You may then proceed!
Come early to enjoy lunch at one of our many eateries or stay for dinner afterward. We offer American-fare, Mexican, Peruvian, Chinese, Italian, and more. We would love for you to get the full “flavor” of Bridgeton.
We have the free Cohanzick Zoo located at 45 Mayor Aitkin Drive. It opens at 9 am and you can start your day there to see our beautiful tigers and over 100 animals. You can leisurely walk from the zoo to the start of the tour, as well. Our city park has over 1000 acres to enjoy.
Note: The Bridgeton’s Holiday Parade will be taking place from 1 pm to 2 pm. The route involves Commerce Street. Please arrive early and plan accordingly.
PARKING: There are several free parking locations available and all are located near Gallery 50, at 50 East Commerce Street. Your tour starts at Gallery 50 where you will activate your ticket or purchase more.

All sites are walkable from these parking locations and there is limited parking located on the street near each site.
Note: We are a historic town and not all buildings, steps, entryways, etc., are ADA-compliant. This tour involves walking, steps, inclines, and smaller spaces. Please proceed carefully at your discretion and ability.
