THE HSH BOOK CLUB WILL MEET TO DISCUSS STACY SCHIFF’S BOOK, THE REVOLUTIONARY: SAMUEL ADAMS ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 24, AT 7PM.
Maureen Corrigan, of NPR’s Fresh Air, has said, “The Revolutionary is informed on every page by scholarship, but Schiff, as Adams himself did, knows how to hold an audience.” And the reviewer from Kirkus Reviews writes that “Schiff offers a wel-come, fresh study featuring notions of liberty and democracy that feel particularly relevant in today’s consistently tumultuous political landscape.”
Book Club meetings are currently held online, over Zoom.
