Don’t miss the fun! This is our final glass open house event until September!
Admission to the Glass Education Center and the sale is free! The SCC Glass Club’s sale will feature handmade glass items including flowers, jewelry, vases, paperweights, and other beautiful glass gift items on both Saturday and Sunday.
While visiting the center, guests may tour the glass studios, view our glass collections, and watch glassmaking in action!
As a part of the county wide studio tour, the Glass Education Center will be offering a free “Dig into Art” project for kids! All visitors 18 and under will have the opportunity to create their own “Stained Glass” Panel – a colorful handcrafted ornament that gives the appearance of stained glass. “Dig into Art” projects are available while supplies last.
Also on Sunday, May 17, the Glass Education Center will be running several hands-on glassmaking workshops. No glass experience is necessary, but please note minimum age requirements for each experience. Visit www.salemcc.edu/glass/experience for details and to sign up today! No registration required if not participating in a hands-on activity.
