Moorestown Theater Company Presents “Grease, School Version” (The Second Of Six MTC Summer Musicals)

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The award-winning, non-profit Moorestown Theater Company (MTC) will perform Grease, School Version six times at First Methodist Church (FMC), 446 E. Camden Avenue, on these dates and times:

Grease, School Version continues the busiest portion of MTC’s 2024 Season, as it will present 38 performances of six different musicals in the 54 days between July 1 and August 23. These next summer musicals include: Fiddler On The Roof, Willy Wonka JR., Rent, and Disney’s Beauty And The Beast JR. (after opening with Cinderella, Youth Edition). You can purchase tickets for these remaining shows at www.MoorestownTheaterCompany.org. In the fall, MTC will bring back both Scenes & Songs (our sixth version) and Elf JR.
In Grease, School Version, MTC’s 41-member Teen Cast of 8th through 12th graders will bring to life the beloved characters from the 1972 Broadway musical and the 1978 Hollywood movie, including Sandy Dumbrowski and Danny Zuko, Rizzo, Kenickie, and the rest of the Pink Ladies and Greasers.
The score by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, includes great songs like “Summer Nights”, “Greased Lightning”, “We Go Together”, “Beauty School Dropout”, and the title song.
This musical has the following Production Staff: Producers Mark Morgan and Carol Ann Murray, Director Jack Morgan, Vocal Director Leah Greski, Choreographer Brenna McQuoid, Costume Designer Thom Sirkot, and Tech Director Abi Sanie.
Grease, School Version is the 18th production, and 16th musical, that MTC is performing in its new theater home in FMC’s Fellowship Hall. All Reserved Seat Tickets are $13 in advance and $15 at the door. They can be purchased online at www.MoorestownTheaterCompany.org or at the door one hour before curtain time.
