Moorestown Theater Company Presents “Miscast Theater Cabaret”

The Moorestown Theater Company, which was recently chosen as the “Outstanding Community Theater Of The Year” for 2022 by the New Jersey Association of Community Theaters, will present three performances of its “Miscast Theater Cabaret” by an 18-member Adult Cast, on these three dates and times in the First United Methodist Church’s Fellowship Hall (at 446 E. Camden Avenue in Moorestown):
– Thursday, November 17 @ 7 PM
– Friday, November 18 @ 7 PM
– Sunday, November 20 @ 2 PM

A ‘Miscast’ Theater Cabaret means that male performers will sing Broadway songs that are traditionally sung by female characters, and vice versa. For example, Channel 6abc’s Rick Williams and MTC’s Producing Artistic Director Mark Morgan will be singing “I Will Never Leave You”, which is sung by conjoined twin sisters in the musical “Sideshow”.
