DIGGERLAND DRIVE WINTER FESTIVAL

We’re glad you asked… It’s our Winter Festival here at Diggerland! Each weekend you and your family can enjoy live music, our famous Parade of Machines, specialty food, hayrides and plenty of fun and games. Winterfest is an optional festival during November when the theme park is operational.It’s included in regular admission ticket price! So not only do you get 40+ attractions, you also get access to all that Winterfest provides. Child on Santa’s lap telling him what he wants for Christmas while Dad takes a photo. Santa is really busy leading up to the holidays, but he’s making a special stop at Diggerland USA. Look for him riding in during our famous Parade of Machines.

Pineland Striders Christmas Lights Run

In case you’ve never joined us for a Voorhills run in December, you may not know that the Signal Hill neighborhood has some pretty impressive lights on display. Sounds like this year’s a great time to find out firsthand! Put on your best holiday-themed apparel (there may be a prize for some of the best-dressed) and join the Pineland Striders for an all-paces group run. Walkers, dogs, and kids are all welcome, and we’ll have members doing all different distances. Plus, we’ll be giving out some prizes, including free entries to the Boxing Day 5K! If you are thinking about joining us for the Boxing Day 5K, the 5K course will be marked before the run in case you’d like the preview the route. We’ll also have some maps and directions on hand.

SEE SANTA IN COLLINGSWOOD

Santa is available for visits every weekend in December free of charge! Santa will welcome families at his Collingswood Headquarters at Extraordinary ED, 808 Haddon Ave. Visits are scheduled Friday nights from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturdays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday afternoons from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Visit Santa to drop off your wish list and take photos and enjoy all the fun, shopping, and dining in downtown Collingswood!

Spend the Winter Holidays in Historic Downtown Haddonfield, every Friday Night from November 24 – December 22, as the business district transforms into a sparkling wonderland. Carolers and musicians will fill the night air with classic holiday music. Mrs. Claus will be making visits to various businesses to “shop for the elves.” New this year! The Holly Trolley makes its maiden voyage of picturesque historic Haddonfield with a holiday tour on December 1st. Merchants will have extended shopping hours, staying open as late as 8 PM or later. Parking is FREE in Downtown from Thanksgiving until New Year’s Eve!

Eager to save Christmas, Mrs. Claus tasks two intrepid elves to journey southward to finds someone—anyone—who still believes in the spirit of Christmas! Based on “The Year Without a Santa Claus”!

Christmas Walk in Haddonfield

For those of you not panicking the Saturday before Christmas, join us for a walk in downtown Haddonfield. This is a town walk through the business district and side streets to enjoy the best holiday decorations we can find. To avoid traffic and parking congestion, we will meet at the Challenge Grove Pavilion across from the Croft Farm Art Center. (This is where we met for the Croft Farm walk in September.) We won’t be walking the Croft Farm Trails, but rather walk down Kings Highway into downtown Haddonfield. This should be a 2 hour / 4-mile walk.

ADVENTURE AQUARIUM’S CHRISTMAS UNDERWATER

Adventure Aquarium invites holiday lovers to splash into the spirit of Fishmas for an experience worth writing to the North Pole about during Christmas Underwater, running now until December 24. The star of Christmas Underwater is Scuba Santa, who will be swimming to town to share holiday cheer with believers of all ages (and species!) Guests can interact and snap selfies with Scuba Santa, who will be diving daily in Ocean Realm among sea turtles, sharks, and stingrays.

Chanukah on Ice

Chanukah on Ice is Fun for all ages! Admission is only $12 or $10 in advance and includes skate rentals, doughnuts and drinks! The event features Chanukah Gelt, Large Menorah Lighting, Jewish Music and refreshments! $100 Sponsor Ticket prices include skate rental, doughnuts and drinks.

Battleship New Jersey

DECEMBER 31 @ 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM

Watch fireworks over the Delaware River from the historic deck of the Battleship New Jersey! Enjoy music, food concessions, a cash bar for adults, and have the chance to fire a Gun Salute. Proceeds go to the on-going restoration of the Battleship, a non-profit museum and memorial. Tickets are a $10 donation for the general session for both the 6pm and Midnight fireworks shows. The Battleship will open her decks at 4pm, two hours prior to the show.
